This Brand-New Color Scheme introduces a perforated window design on the tongue of the shoe.

In January 1964, University of Oregon track athlete Phil Knight and his coach, Bill Bowerman, founded Blue Ribbon Sports, the predecessor to Nike. In 1972, they began designing and producing their own footwear and named the brand Nike, after the Greek goddess of victory.
